  • There is a bus stop just 15 minutes away on foot from the apartments with services to Amadores Beach, the airport (indirect), the centre of Puerto Rico and other tourist destinations such as Maspalomas, Arguineguín and Las Palmas.

  • The GC-1 motorway makes it easy to get to the places of interest on the southern, eastern and north-eastern coasts of the island, including Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the island’s capital; and the airport.

Puerto Rico Beach is located one mile away from the apartments (15 minutes on foot). It is a beautiful golden beach with quiet waters where as well as enjoying a relaxing swim you can also take part in many activities and water sports such as jet skiing, snorkelling, deep-sea fishing and windsurfing. The beach also offers a wide range of services, including sunlounger and parasol rental, shops, restaurants, parking, etc. The famous Amadores Beach is also just 3.5 miles away (10 minutes by car).

What to do in Puerto Rico

As well as beautiful beaches, Puerto Rico also offers a wide range of leisure activities, among which are sampling traditional local cuisine in the many restaurants, bars and terraces; going for a pleasant stroll around the port, dolphin and whale-watching excursions on a boat, golf (the nearest course is Anfi Tauro Golf, 3.5 miles away) and spending a wonderful family day out in the nearby theme park Angry Birds Activity Park.
